Principles:

Fernhurst Pre-school ensures that the teaching, learning and experiences in our setting meet the individual needs of ALL our children. Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) will be spent according to the individual needs of the children.

When we identify children that require some additional support in their development our setting will make additional provisions to assist those children. Please refer to 9.3 EYPP Policy

 

Provisions:

Providing additional staff/assistants support during small group work and during key situations.

Additional training, as required, to help extend children’s development.

New resources to support activities.

 

Impact:

Children’s progress in their development will be recorded and monitored on the child’s Tapestry Learning Journal, identifying success and highlighting areas that may need more support and at regular team meetings.
